Stevenson Overall's 727 and 737

Stevenson Overall's 727 and 737

Aero Brand, Height of Perfection.

This is what defines Stevenson's garments; the details.

The first two models from Stevenson's denim line that we carry is currently the 'La Jolla 727' and 'Ventura 737', jeans that are more than just inspirations from the past.

Featuring the two cuts:

-The slim-tapered 727 La Jolla                                                                                   -The straight-cut 737 Ventura

When buying a pair of jeans, fit and cut should always be a factor in order to achieve great fades and a proper wear. Here's an overview of the fitting:

-The slim-tapered 727 works well for anyone looking for a modern slim-fitting cut, slim in the thighs and tapered from the knee down to the hem. With a more tapered hem, it can be worn casually with sneakers. Developed from the slim straight cut jeans worn by university students in the 1960's, rocking this with a pair of Jack Purcell's ain't an issue.

-The straight-cut 737 is neither anti-fit nor 1947's wide straight cut, the 737 is a borderline straight which provides ample space at the thighs before relaxing to a slight taper from the knee to the hem. Providing comfort for the legs, yet a modified straight that blends in well when worn with modern-cut tops. If you prefer a roomier top block and the vintage 1950's look, this pair could very well fit your checklist.

Details and the works: the segment that truly derives what a pair of Stevenson Overall's jeans is all about.

Amongst the variety of cuts that Stevenson offers, there has to be a singularity point to balance that variety...One iconic set of details, a variety of cuts for a range of preferences. However, these 'details' are not of an ordinary pair of 5 pockets', they are Stevenson's brand icons.

The fabric - Hailing from Okayama, the 14oz midweight denim is woven specifically for Stevenson Overall Co by Kuroki Co, Ltd. Made using Zimbabwean cotton, the unsanforised right-hand twill denim was rope-dyed in natural indigo, resulting in a slightly greenish hue. Slightly slubby and full of texture, the fabric has a clean white/green selvedge ID. If you think the raw fabric looks neat, wait till you experience the fades!

As you explore further, you might have noticed the unique scalloped back pockets drawing your attention. SOC had adopted the curved openings commonly seen on the front pockets of jeans and incorporated it into the back and coin pockets. This delivers a distinctive appeal to set it apart from the standard '5 pocket' norm, bringing a modern approach to the traditional jeans. Their jeans are sewn on vintage sewing machines in Japan, also adopting a high stitch-count single-needle stitching throughout the majority of the jean. The yoke seams are hand-felled, belt-loops folded into a hourglass shape by hand. Stress points are all reinforced by single needle 'Z' stitches in place of bartacks.

PREMIUM LEATHER-BACKED BUTTONS.                                                                                   STAR-IMPRINT COPPER RIVETS. SOC-BRANDED TOP BUTTON & LAUREL-LEAF FLY BUTTONS.

Finishing with a high-quality "STEVENSON OVERALL CO." paper patch.

The details and work put into the jeans have spoken for its brand.

Now the only missing component left is to experience the jeans for yourself, a journey that will never disappoint.
