A symbol with meaning beyond its darker associations, the Brass Skull Ring is handcrafted by Obbi Good Label as an expression of life, strength and the passing of time.

The skull has endured for centuries as a reminder of life's finite nature. For Obbi Good Label, it represents the Power of Life, not mortality for its own sake, but the awareness that time is precious and should be lived with purpose, courage and conviction.

The skull is sculpted with an intentionally raw character before being cast in solid brass and individually finished by hand. Details within the face give the piece depth, while the warm golden brass creates a different presence from its sterling silver counterpart.

Solid Brass, Made to Age

Brass is a living material. Its warm golden surface will gradually darken and develop a natural patina through wear, exposure and time. Rather than diminishing the piece, this evolution gives the ring greater depth and individuality.

As brass reacts naturally with air, moisture, perspiration and oils on the skin, oxidation may occur. This can occasionally leave a greenish or darker mark on the skin, particularly with prolonged wear or in humid conditions. This is a natural characteristic of solid brass and not a material defect. The marks can normally be washed away with soap and water.

The brass itself will continue to develop character as it ages. Leave the patina untouched and allow the ring to tell its own story, or occasionally polish it to bring back its brighter golden finish.

Please note: Natural oxidation, patina, colour changes and temporary skin discolouration are inherent characteristics of solid brass and are not considered manufacturing defects.
